I am starting to come out of the funk of the past couple of weeks. The battle is still heavy and drains me emotionally. One of the principles that I will cover in my Your Hero Quest book will be the principle of rest which includes vacation. This will be me next week. I look forward to relaxing with my mom and dad as well as spend some focused time with my kids.
I am a man of endurance and I push hard to accomplish as much as possible. When I was a child I was called lazy and I have lived my life in an effort to disprove that accusation. But I have learned over the years that it is Jesus himself who has sustained me and encouraged me forward in Him. He has blessed me and allowed me to fullfill my dreams.
This week I also received a copy of my first book. Hero Quest. I can hardly tell put into words how joyful that I feel. I thought when I became a Christian nearly 15 years ago that I had lost that dream. But God is a restorer of dreams. Might I live in His dreams daily.
